The journey

Cairo, Luxor and Aswan in five private days

  • Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and Valley Temple
  • Egyptian Museum and its ancient artifacts
  • Karnak and Luxor Temple on the East Bank
  • Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's temple
  • Philae Temple on Agilika Island
  • Boat ride to a Nubian village

This short journey keeps to the essentials. In Cairo you visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, then the Egyptian Museum with its thousands of ancient artifacts.

An early flight takes you to Luxor for a full day on both banks: Karnak and Luxor Temple, then the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and the Colossi of Memnon. The next day a private car drives you to Aswan for Philae Temple and a boat ride to a Nubian village, before an evening flight back to Cairo. Guiding, sightseeing and transfers are all private.

  • Short stay You have five days and want the key sites of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan.
  • Full days You are happy with an early flight and a long day of temples in Luxor.
  • Hotel nights You prefer hotel stays to a cruise, with private touring throughout.
